FAQ

Most Common Questions

Yes, MID carries insurance and a bond.

MID ensures the security of your house keys by keeping all keys name and address free. Our managers are the only people who have access to your house keys at the beginning of the day, and they ensure to return them to our locked vault at the end of the day.

In the rare event that a key is lost, our managers will contact the affected customer. If our customer has an alarm code, that will also be protected and only accessible to our managers.

Our clients do not have to be there during the cleanings, and the house should be empty during the cleaning to ensure a more thorough job.

Most of the time MID will send two maids, but ultimately the size of the house and how extensive the cleaning will be can determine the number of maids sent.

Maid In Downtown strives to send the same maids, but we cannot guarantee it. Unpredictable circumstances like illness, bad weather, or holidays may require a different maid to take over for that cleaning.

a. MID accepts personal checks, cash, Zelle, Venmo, and Paypal. All payments made through Venmo and Paypal will have an additional fee.
b. All payments must be made at the time of service.
c. Maid In Downtown provides self sealed envelopes with the company logo to ensure that there is no confusion when having payments made.

Yes, Maid In Downtown keeps all personal information confidential at all times.
